Child Care
Our child care facility is designed for the short-term care of boys and girls who are in a crisis and need immediate placement. These children may be homeless, abused, abandoned, neglected or caught up in an insurmountable family conflict. Because of the emergency nature of the situations, admission procedures are streamlined so these children can be accepted almost immediately.
Old Age Care
India is today home to over 100 million senior citizens. Rapid urbanization has overtaken the traditional value-system of our people and shifted their socio-economic priorities. Deteriorating physical strength,geriatric illnesses,poor financial condition, lack of affordable health care and the general neglect by society towards the elderly has propelled us to step in and bring in elder welfare programs and advocate for elder friendly policies.We are committed to make a coordinated effort with compassion and understanding to transform social attitudes towards senior citizens. The effort is to create the infrastructure to empower every old and elderly person. PDI has been set up to initiate better interaction between the generations. It endeavors to:
- Bring about a change in perceptions about Old Age.
- Initiate steps towards senior citizens friendly environment.
- Evolve a sense of moral and social responsibility towards senior citizens.
- Advocate for the needs and rights of senior citizens.
- Extend a helping hand to senior citizens wherever required
